ISLA CONTOY
Isla Contoy National Park, is a protected bird species (152 tropical marine bird different species), coral reefs and under water species sanctuary. It is one of Mexico´s smallest Islands (3.17 km2, 8.5 km length), located 30km from Cancun in the Mexican Caribbean. There are not many marine park permits to visit the island and it is limited to 200 visitors per day. Being one of the few direct operators allowed to visit, we came up with an integral activity allowing our guests a full visit to Isla Contoy and its surroundings. Departure 9am Punta Sam (check in 845am) Punta Sam is 15mins. away from the Cancun Hotel Zone. After a quick boat ride we snorkel at Isla Che coral reef area for 40mins. We then visit the surroundings and the Isla Contoy museum. Lunch is then served; Fish of Chicken Tikinxik style (grilled), including fruit, salad, guacamole, breath, rice, purified water, soda and beer. After lunch we arrive to Isla Mujeres where we spend 1hr. to visit and shop to then return to Punta Sam between 3 and 330pm. This tour goes out everyday except on Thursdays. CANCUN MANGROVES AND REEFS
Ride a speedboat around the lagoon and mangrove channels, park the boats over a beautiful coral reef area and snorkel. Typically called Jungle tour, this activity allows you to enjoy the ride, the scenery of the mangrove jungle and the amazing underwater realm.
2hrs. and 15mins. Tours at 9am 12pm 1pm 3pm and 4pm while on summer.
Includes snorkel gear, life vest, guide, refreshments, does not include park and dock fee.
FLY FISHING
We fish the Nichupte and Bojorquez lagoon for tarpon, Snook, Snapper, Jack, Barracuda and summer months Permit and Bonefish.
Light tackle, fly fishing includes, expert guide, all fishing equipment, lures, leaders, flies, box lunch is available for 6hrs and 8hrs Fly fishing charters.
4, 6 and 8 hrs. available as well as fishing at Isla blanca, where from may to september there is an outsanding Permit fishing.
